Illusion of Space in Mass Media:
1. Size:
The below image is a good example of Vertical Location being used to create the illusion of space. Notice that each plate is place higher on the page to indicate a recession into depth. The higher the plate is on the page, the farther back it is assumed to be.
2. Exaggerated Size:

The below image is an example of Exaggerated Size being used to create the illusion of space. The exaggerated size of the fingers holding the glass of Pepsi creates depth and space as to the size of the Pepsi mini can they are advertising.
3. One-Point Perspective:

The image below is a good example of using one-point perspective as a means to create the illusion of space. Notice the billboard advertising on the walls decrease in size, the spacing of the lights gets shorter, and the escalator pathway narrows. These factors cause the corridor to appear longer because all are focused on a single vanishing point of one-point perspective.
Illusion of Motion in Mass Media:
1. Depicting the Transient:
Below the image is an example of depicting the transient as a way to create the illusion of motion. The flowing repeated shapes between the woman's upper and lower body depicts the movement of her body as being too rapid for the eye to see.
2. Figure Cropped
The below image uses Figure Cropped as a way to depict the illusion of motion. The square form crops the person on his original 4-w skateboard. His lunging arm and legs aligned with the horizon, create a tense line spanning the entire picture. This line gives the feeling of the action continuing off and through the frame.
3. Multiple Image
This last example uses multiple image to depict the illusion of motion. It is not so much the focal point figure depicting motion here, but all the many images of bodies all around her. They are all in various slightly different positions and all focus is on the center largest basket ball player. All arms are pointed up to give the feeling of movement that they are all propelling her and the hoop as well.
